How do animals survive an Adirondack Winter? Well many of them fly south, but for those who don’t fly there are some amazing strategies that help them cope with the cold, ice and snow. My lawn is teaming with wild life, even though the thermometer hasn't been above zero in a week. The animals can teach us how coping with adverse conditions can help us experience 'life of enough' even in the midst of the scarcity of winter. We can see the value of hibernation like the bears, or the value of living in large groups like the bees.
